The regular monthly meeting of the West Pittston Shade Tree Commission was held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 6:30p.m., in the conference room of the West Pittston Borough Building. Commission members answering roll call: President McHugh, Vice-President Berti, Treasurer Orth and Secretary Mansi. Volunteers included Tadd Morris.

I. Reading and Approval of Minutes

On motion of McHugh, seconded by Orth the minutes of the April 14, 2009 meeting were read and approved.

II. Reports

1. Treasurer Orth reported an account balance of $6,401.17
2. Deposits included: Pesta, 100.00; Christman, 5.00
3. Disbursements included: Botteon, 100.00; Penn State Tree Service: 300.00; Website: 7.20.

D. On motion of Mansi seconded by Morris the treasurer’s report was accepted through April 14, 2009.

III. Unfinished Business and New Business

1. Sabatelle property: Removal approved.
2. Christman property: Removal approved.
3. Work Sessions: Work sessions will be conducted on an as needed basis and as decided upon by the WPSTC.
4. Disbursements: To be finalized at meetings.
5. Policare: Contesting letter from Atty Bufalino. Argues that Wyoming Concrete is at fault and should reimburse WPSTC.

IV. Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
